EU–Taiwan ECCP Matchmaking Event 2025
09.11.2025From 21st to 23rd October Silvia Kabaivanova, Vice Chairman of Bulgarian Digital Cluster took part in EU–Taiwan ECCP Matchmaking Event 2025 .
The first day brought Europe’s cluster community face to face with Taiwan’s cutting-edge innovation scene.
The delegation visited Solomon AI and 3D Vision and Foxconn, two companies that embody Taiwan’s role at the frontier of AI, robotics, and smart manufacturing.

The visits were followed by the European Innovation Week Grand Opening, a joint EU–Taiwan initiative celebrating our shared commitment to innovation, the green transition, and industrial cooperation.
As Europe and Taiwan continue to deepen their partnership, today’s exchanges highlight a shared ambition, to turn innovation into opportunity, strengthen industrial ecosystems, and create new paths for sustainable growth.
On Day 2 of the EU–Taiwan ECCP Matchmaking the participants visited TAITRONICS & AIoT Taiwan – one of Asia’s most iconic technology exhibitions, and at European Innovation Week sessions exploring AI, industrial digitalisation, and drone technologies, discovering how Taiwan’s industries are shaping the future of connected and sustainable innovation.

The final day of the EU–Taiwan ECCP Matchmaking Event 2025 turned dialogue into action, as European and Taiwanese clusters and SMEs came together for a full day of matchmaking meetings, transforming ideas from the past two days into concrete cooperation.
In total, 16 European participants, 14 clusters and 2 SMEs from 11 EU countries, met with 37 Taiwanese organisations, holding 152 one-to-one meetings focused on AI, semiconductors, robotics, sustainable energy, and the circular economy.
