FutureProofTextiles was Presented at Torino Fashion Match 2026

The FutureProofTextiles project was presented during the international B2B event Torino Fashion Match, held as part of Torino Fashion Week 2026 in Turin, Italy.

The event brought together companies, fashion brands, designers, manufacturers, startups, retailers, investors, and industry organisations from more than 40 countries, with a strong focus on sustainability, innovation, and the future of the textile and fashion industries.

During the conference programme, Silvia Kabaivanova, Chair of the Bulgarian Fashion Association, introduced the FutureProofTextiles initiative and highlighted its open call for funding, offering grants of up to €50,000 to SMEs in the textile sector to support innovation and sustainable transformation.

The presentation provided an opportunity to raise awareness of FutureProofTextiles among international textile and fashion stakeholders, encouraging SMEs to explore funding opportunities and develop innovative solutions for a more sustainable, competitive, and future-ready European textile industry.

Torino Fashion Match was co-organised with the involvement of the Enterprise Europe Network, whose Sector Group Textiles also held a meeting during the event, strengthening international cooperation and business networking across the textile ecosystem.
